THICK CUT EPS CORE
An Extra Thick, Lightweight Core for increased strength and floatation to handle bigger riders. It is 100% Waterproof and ideal for all climates.
DOUBLE STRINGER
2 Fibreglass rods inserted into the core of the board. This greatly increases strength and stops boards from snapping, ensuring your board will last a lot longer.
HD SLICK
This a high density, closed cell thermoplastic found on the bottom of the board. It increases performance, while also greatly increasing durability by protecting the core of the board.
IXLPE DeckSKIN
IXLPE is a crosslinked polyethylene foam creating a very smooth deck. It is the stiffest, most durable decksing but protects against rash and abrasion.
CrESCENT TAIL
The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions
GRADUATED CHANNELS
These are contours found on the slick side of the board, near the tail and close to the rails. They are designed to give you rail control and making the board less likely to side-slip.
50/50 Double Rails
The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, while the 50/50 construction leaves a touch less rail in the water providing the perfect mix of control and speed for most conditions.
FREE LEASH
This model comes Pre-Plugged with nylon tether. For more serious use, we suggest upgrading to Basic Wrist or Basic Bicep Leash.
Suggested Sizing
As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.
As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner woudl be best suited to 38", not 36".
Board Size | Weight Range |
34" | <30kg |
36" | 25-40kg |
38" | 35-50kg |
40" | 45-75kg |
42" | 65-95kg |
44" | 80-105kg |
