This current version with the slight nose kick into the concave/rail combo in the back is unreal. Have it in peach 43" and it's been on multiple Indo boat trips but it just refuses to die, still rides unreal.
I own two other DK-specific boards for comparison. This board is plenty stiff for the knee with a stable outline that is wider toward the tail than some of my other boards. I really dig the double concave bottom and vax trax rails. I wanted to try something unique and different that isn't just a gimmick and this board delivered. It holds a line very well and releases when you want it to. The slick did arrive with some scratches that looked like they had to have happened at the factory even before the clear plastic wrap was applied, not during shipping, but this board was on sale for $106 off so that is fair. I really value DK boards that try to push innovation and this one is a winner for me. Also Nick Gornall rips.
great !!! good for turns, rail to rail flow and speed
This is my first DK board and wow i cant believe how much difference it makes! Only ridden a couple times in sucky 3-4ft waves but really impressed so far. Find I can lean much more forward on the drop-in and doesn't nose dive as easily as my prone focused boards. Also hold the rails really nicely and im assuming this is because the wide point is bit further back. Really stiff when riding prone, but feels perfect up on the knee. Stoked!
