A board for those who prefer to get up on the knee! We've kept the basics but made a few little modifications to the Slasher SS.

Our template has remained the same - a classic DK Shape suitable for most riders.

Main feature that sets this out from the rest is the Vax Trax Rail system. This gives a bit of extra hold which is super handy when up on the knee, but still releases when you want to whip it through some turns. Feedback on this feature on a DK board has been amazing. We've also added a Top Chine rail to the mix to freshen up the look a little!

We’ve kept the Trident Stringer System. Having the Triple stringer where your back knee sits helps to give extra stiffness through the mid-section which basically translates into improved drive and durability.

On the bottom, we've kept the  AKU Shaped double hull concave. This splits the water flow into double channels to create a looser ride, allowing flowing turns when transitioning from rail to rail.

We've also kept with the traditional Full Crescent tail. Smaller pegs = more hold!

Thing is a beast

This current version with the slight nose kick into the concave/rail combo in the back is unreal. Have it in peach 43" and it's been on multiple Indo boat trips but it just refuses to die, still rides unreal.

Great DK board

I own two other DK-specific boards for comparison. This board is plenty stiff for the knee with a stable outline that is wider toward the tail than some of my other boards. I really dig the double concave bottom and vax trax rails. I wanted to try something unique and different that isn't just a gimmick and this board delivered. It holds a line very well and releases when you want it to. The slick did arrive with some scratches that looked like they had to have happened at the factory even before the clear plastic wrap was applied, not during shipping, but this board was on sale for $106 off so that is fair. I really value DK boards that try to push innovation and this one is a winner for me. Also Nick Gornall rips.

Slasher SS

This is my first DK board and wow i cant believe how much difference it makes! Only ridden a couple times in sucky 3-4ft waves but really impressed so far. Find I can lean much more forward on the drop-in and doesn't nose dive as easily as my prone focused boards. Also hold the rails really nicely and im assuming this is because the wide point is bit further back. Really stiff when riding prone, but feels perfect up on the knee. Stoked!
