The Apex is ideal for beginner - intermediate riders in the 70-95kg range.
The main feature of the Apex is the extruded Polypro Core (a mix between EPS & Polypro).
Compared the the EPS it is a bit less brittle, while compared to the PE it is lighter and less temperature sensitive so is a better option in warmer waters.
Combined with 2 stringers, this creates an extremely durable board suitable for mid-warm climates (although would be fine in any!)
