The Bullet Block uses slightly wider template combined with a thicker core to provide a little extra floatation. This makes it ideal for anyone on the bigger side, however the extra volume would also come in handy for anyone on the smaller days.

Product Update - In previous models, we have used the 1.9lb PP core, but are now using the K15 1.5lb core for this model.

Template - we've used Bullet?s refined and slightly modernized template. This template already has little bit of extra width compared to a lot of the Pro model board on the market, and we've beefed it up further by thickening the core slightly as well.

It is a perfect all-rounder for all wave sizes & suitable for prone or dropknee riding. The wide-point sits right on the elbows, making it easy to spin on and perfect for driving off your bottom turns. Bullet actually used this shape when he won the infamous '97 Pipe contest, so it's guaranteed to work when the waves are pumping too.

Construction - This board use the new K15 Core, combined with double Stringers and an HD Slick for durability. We found that the thicker core combined with double stringers add's a fair bit off stiffness already, so using the slightly softer K15 core gives it the perfect flex properties. This should make it suitable for year-round use in most climates.

Features - We like to keep it pretty simple with these models - Crescent Tail, 55/45 Rails, Graduated Channels and Nose Bulbs.

See below for detailed look at the specs:

Core: Kinetic Core PP (EPP 1.5lb)
Deck: Wavecushion Air 8lb PE (NXLPE)
Slick: HDPE
Stringer: 2 X S5 Stringer
Rails: 55/45 Double Rails
Channels:  Graduated Channels
Tail: Crescent Tail w/ Tail Piece
Contours: Deck & Nose Bulbs

Size Guide

Suggested Sizing

As a general guide, a bodyboard should go to the rider's belly button. apart from that, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing the correct size board. Generally bigger boards are faster, but not as easy to control, and generally suited to smaller waves and beginners. On the other hand smaller boards are a bit harder to generate speed, however, have greater control and are ideal for bigger waves and more advanced riders.

As a guide, please refer to the table below. If you're a beginner, you are probably best suited to a size in which you fall in the lower end of the weight range. ie. 40kg beginner would be best suited to 38", not 36".

    Board Size Weight Range
    34" <30kg
    36" 25-40kg
    38" 35-50kg
    40" 45-75kg
    42" 65-95kg
    44" 80-105kg

    Bullet Template

The Bullet Template features a little bit of extra width compared to our Pro Boards. It provides a little more float and is best suited (although not limited to) small- medium sized waves.

    THICK K15 CORE (1.5lb PP)

The K15 Core (1.5lb) has a little more flex than the traditional Kinetic (1.9lb), but combined with extra thickness & double stringers, we feel its perfect for most mild water temperatures.

K15 A lightweight core that is fusion formed, delivering incredible flex properties, including instant recoil, enhanced longitudinal stiffness and awesome compression strength.

    2 x STRINGER

2 filament composite fibre tube inserted into the core of the board to greatly increase stiffness, recoil and durability.

    HD SLICK

This a high density, closed cell thermoplastic found on the bottom of the board. It increases performance, while also greatly increasing durability by protecting the core of the board.

    PE DeckSKIN

The preferred Deck Skin of our Pro Riders as it has less effect on natural flex of the core. Also provides a little more grip than IXL Deckskin.

    CrESCENT TAIL

The most popular bodyboard tail. The clipped crescent tail provides the perfect mix of hold, drive and responsiveness when you need it, in all types of conditions

    GRADUATED CHANNELS

These are contours found on the slick side of the board, near the tail and close to the rails. They are designed to give you rail control and making the board less likely to side-slip.

    55/45 DOUBLE RAILS

The two IXLPE Rails provide extra strength, the 55/45 Rail shape allows a touch more rail to be in the water, allowing for greater control.

    Nose BuLBS

Deck & Slick side bulbs on the nose of the board to provide extra grip in critical situations.
